Her scales made from clay are cut one by one and placed in order. I use different dyes in my clay so that each scale is like a finger print, quite original.

She has had 3 firings, each firing is a 24 hour process. 1st Bisque fire, 2nd Glaze fire. 3rd firing an over glaze of mother of pearl.
Every thing regarding this piece is hand sculpted, no two are ever the same.
Behind her is a copper coil ringlet to safely secure her on top of your Christmas tree.
